This two-day program is designed to introduce participants with little or no background in cybersecurity to the essential concepts of the field. The workshop will start with an overview of the fundamentals of cybersecurity, including key terminology, the importance of data protection, and basic principles of digital safety. Participants will then explore various cybersecurity threats, such as phishing, malware, ransomware, and social engineering, alongside an overview of prevalent cybercrimes. The session will also cover existing laws and regulations that govern cybersecurity, focusing on how these measures help protect individuals and organizations. In the final segment, we will discuss practical strategies and best practices for safeguarding personal and professional information online.
